Overview
- The American Journal of Business Management & Entrepreneurship (AJBME) follows international academic publishing standards for manuscript submission.
- Authors must ensure that their manuscripts align with the journal’s formatting, referencing, and ethical guidelines.
- Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned for revision prior to peer review.
Manuscript Types
- Original Research Articles: Empirical studies presenting new insights in business management, finance, and entrepreneurship.
- Review Articles: Critical evaluations of existing literature in business strategy, leadership, and market trends.
- Case Studies: Real-world business and entrepreneurial case analyses that highlight key managerial decisions and outcomes.
- Conceptual Papers: Theoretical discussions on business frameworks, management innovations, and economic trends.
- Policy & Economic Papers: Studies on business law, economic policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Industry Reports & Market Analysis: Research-driven business intelligence reports analyzing corporate strategies, competition, and consumer behavior.

Manuscript Format
- Language: Manuscripts must be in clear and professional English.
- File Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format.
- Font & Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
- Word Limits: Original Research (5000-8000 words), Review Articles (6000-10,000 words), Short Papers (2000-4000 words).
- Figures & Tables: High-resolution images (300 DPI), formats accepted (JPEG, PNG, TIFF), tables should be in editable format.
- Placement: Figures and tables should be inserted at relevant positions in the text.
Abstract And Keywords
- Abstract: The abstract should provide a concise summary of the research, covering objectives, methodology, key findings, and managerial implications.
- It should not exceed 250 words.
- Keywords: Include 4-10 relevant keywords that define the core topics of the research.
Citation And Referencing
- References must follow APA (7th Edition) or Harvard citation style.

Cover Letter
- Each manuscript submission must include a cover letter specifying:
- • The type of article (Research, Review, Case Study, etc.).
- • A brief summary of the study’s significance and contributions.
- • Confirmation that the manuscript is not under review elsewhere.
- • Disclosure of any conflicts of interest.
- • A list of at least three suggested reviewers (optional).
Submission Process
- Authors should submit their manuscripts through the online submission system.
- Submission Steps:
- 1. Register or log in to the submission system.
- 2. Complete manuscript details, including title, author affiliations, and abstract.
- 3. Upload the manuscript and any supplementary files (figures, datasets, etc.).
- 4. Confirm adherence to journal guidelines and submit.
- 5. Track the submission progress through the author dashboard.
Peer Review Process
- All submissions undergo a rigorous **double-blind peer review** to maintain research quality and integrity.
- Review Steps:
- 1. Initial Editorial Screening: Manuscripts are reviewed for compliance with formatting and scope requirements.
- 2. Assignment to Reviewers: Qualified reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodology, and contribution.
- 3. Reviewer Feedback: Authors receive detailed feedback and recommendations (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject).
- 4. Revision & Resubmission: If revisions are needed, authors must submit a revised manuscript addressing all reviewer comments.
- 5. Final Decision: The editorial board makes the final acceptance decision.
- 6. Copyediting & Publication: Accepted papers undergo editing and are published online with a DOI.
Publication Ethics
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Plagiarism Policy: All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using industry-standard software.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or institutional conflicts of interest.
- Ethical Compliance: Research involving human participants must include an ethics approval statement.
Publication Charges
- To support Open Access publishing, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance.
- APC Fees:

- • Middle-Income Countries: $800
- • Low-Income Countries: $500
- Waivers & Discounts: Financial support and partial waivers are available for eligible authors.
- Requests for fee waivers should be made at the time of submission.
